Consistent high visit numbers and a lot of traffic driven to the band’s social media makes this a successful website.
The Dead Freights are an indie rock’n’roll band from Southampton, UK. They needed their website to be in keeping with the rest of their online presence. Rather than a large hub, they wanted it to be a gateway for their fans to access their music, video and social media profiles efficiently.
Their logo overlays a video of a live show giving the visitor an instant look into their brand and identity. Immediately underneath are all of the links to their various online platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and their social media.
Below the fold are their show dates which are being pulled in from Songkick, and pictures pulled from their Instagram. It was important for the content to dynamically update without needing to log in to their dashboard.
